About me
I’m Sophie, an empathic UX/UI designer from Berlin. After more than 6 years working as a nurse, I became fascinated by coding and creative design at a Rails Girls beginner workshop. When I worked as a Customer Care Executive in an e-commerce company, my problem solving skills came into play. I built up customer service, solved customer problems, and worked closely with logistics and the product team.
My foray into the world of UX design began with my participation in a Design Sprint, where I discovered my passion for this exciting field. I decided to enroll in the UX/UI bootcamp at Ironhack Berlin. Equipped with the knowledge and skills gained from this comprehensive program, I have since devoted myself to a career as a UX designer, continually striving to create user-centric designs that leave a lasting impact.
Since April 2021, I have been working as a UX professional for Inspired Consulting, an IT consultancy specialized in supporting clients in digital product development and consulting around software architecture and technology.
In my role as a user experience designer, I work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and user needs, conducting user research and testing to gain valuable insights into user behavior. Using this information, I work with cross-functional teams to design and develop user-centric products that meet the needs of the target audience.
